Trojans fall to Bull Dogs
Center Grove came up short against third-ranked Columbus North on Thursday, suffering a 5-0 setback in a match played indoors at the University of Indianapolis. The Trojans’ No. 2 doubles team of Madison Herron and Peri Small lost in a third-set tiebreaker.

Softball drops HCAC opener
Franklin College lost to Hanover, 6-4, in the opening round of the double-elimination HCAC tournament on Wednesday. Genesis Muñoz drove in a pair of runs in defeat. The Grizzlies (21-18) then built a 10-run first-inning lead and routed Defiance in an elimination game. Sydney Bostic, Molly Wallace and Shelby Crockett each had three RBIs in the win.
