FRANKLIN, IN.

Tracey J. (Shinnamon) Duncan 60 of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday May 4, 2022, at Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born November 26, 1961, in Indianapolis, IN to Kenneth William Shinnamon and Sondra Kay (Cummins) Shinnamon. She married William J. “Bill” Duncan on November 29, 1983, in Indianapolis, IN, he survives.

Tracey was a 1980 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis and a graduate of PJ’s Beauty College. She was a professional hair salon stylist and having owned and operated the Beauty Shop on Jefferson Street in Franklin for 20 years and recently Salon 33 in Franklin.

She attended Grace Assembly of God in Greenwood and Nineveh Christian Church.

She enjoyed and loved helping and doing for others. Tracey was truly a giving person of herself to serve others.

Survivors include her husband William J. “Bill” Duncan, children William J. Duncan Jr. (Penny Mings) of Edinburgh, IN, Robert J. Duncan (Tara) of Nineveh, IN, Dexton W. Duncan (fianc? Constance Moreno) of Trafalgar, IN, and Kearston J. Duncan (Korbyn Altum) of Bargersville, IN, her mother Sondra Kay (Cummins) Shinnamon of Franklin, IN, twelve grandchildren Kodi Duncan, Jocelyn Duncan, Dylan Duncan, Rylee Duncan, Cash Duncan, Isaac Duncan, Addison Brim, Kolton Moreno, Jackson Duncan, Logan Moreno, Alexander Duncan and Hazel Duncan, siblings Cathy Lynn Harris (Mike) of Greenwood, IN, William D. Shinnamon (Rhonda) of Greenwood, IN, Gary M. Shinnamon (Carla) of Indianapolis, IN and Jodi K. Hall (Chris) of Indianapolis, IN, mother in law Jean Ann Duncan of McCordsville, IN, brother in laws and sister in laws Richard H. Duncan II (Linda) of Indianapolis, IN, Stephen Duncan (Kathy) of Southport, IN, Christopher Duncan (Monica) of Shoals, IN, Janet Hellman (Jim) of Brownsburg, IN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth William Shinnamon and father in law Richard H. Duncan.

Pastor Tom Knight will conduct a service on Sunday May 15, 2022 at 4PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Sunday May 15, 2022 from 1PM until service time at the mortuary.

A private family graveside will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made for the college education benefit of her daughter Kearston J. Duncan, checks may be made payable to William J.
