Girls tennis

Grizzly Cubs remain unbeaten

No. 12 Franklin kept its perfect record intact with a 3-2 win over 29th-ranked Oldenburg Academy and a 5-0 sweep of Mt. Vernon on Saturday. Rylie Wilkison and Emma Williams each collected a pair of singles victories, while Emma Sappenfield and Kate Pinnick took two wins at second doubles.

Trojans take down Cougars

Center Grove defeated Bloomington North, 4-1. Lauren Dick, Ava Beecher and Emerson Donaldson took their singles matches in straight sets for the No. 24 Trojans, while Madison Herron and Peri Small earned a three-set win at No. 2 doubles.

Boys golf

Warriors place seventh

Whiteland finished seventh out of 14 teams at the Mooresville Invitational. Will Davis led the Warriors with a 75, good for eighth individually, followed by Dylan Gross (84), Brayden Paterek (86) and Evan Meece (89).

Trojans compete at Brownsburg

Center Grove finished 11th in a stacked 14-team field in the Brownsburg Invitational at Trophy Club.
