More free at-home COVID tests available

Free at-home COVID-19 tests can once again be ordered from the federal government.

The federal government is offering a third round of the free tests, with any household in the U.S. eligible for eight free rapid antigen tests. The tests will come in two separate packages and will be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, according to the USPS.

With the eight additional tests, the total number of free tests available to each household since the start of the program is now at 16, according to a news release.

To order the tests, go to covid.gov/tests. Support is available if there are problems placing an order. Call 1-800-232-0233 to get help from 8 a.m. to midnight, 7 days a week, the news release says.
