INDIANAPOLIS

Wanda “Annette” Dupont, 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 20th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna Mae Cox and nephews Brice Davis and Blake Sutherlin.

Annette was born October 7th, 1958, in Franklin IN. One of her fondest memories was winning a sewing competition and earning a trip to Washington DC along with the opportunity to meet the then first lady Rosalyn Carter. She graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in advertising.

She had a wide array of interests over the years which included traveling, scrapbooking, arts and crafts, shopping, make up, jewelry, and parades. She also loved anything that was Mary Englebright, Vera Bradley, and Brighton.

Annette was known as “Net Net” to her beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who she adored and was so proud of and loved and looked forward to being around family at get togethers, special occasions, and holidays when her health allowed it. Her kind, caring, and loving soul will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Raymond E Dupont of Indianapolis IN. She is also survived by her brothers, Steven Cox (Diana) of Florida, Tony Cox of Indiana, Beverly Frye of Indiana, and Cynthia Wechsler (Gary) of Indiana. She is also survived by her brothers in law Michael Dupont (Linda) of Indiana, Bill Dupont (Marilyn) of North Carolina, and Richard Dupont (Janet) of Minnesota.

An open house to celebrate her life will be in the Chapel at Suburban Baptist Church, 722 E County Line Rd, Indianapolis, on Friday, June 3rd, from 10:00 am to Noon.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, Lawrence Community Park Foundation, or Community Cupboard of Lawrence, Indiana.
