An Indiana Department of Transportation contractor is expected to begin work this week to repair a six-mile stretch of State Road 135 between Trafalgar and Morgantown.
The road will be patched, milled and repaved. INDOT officials say motorists can expect daytime lane closures and flagging in the work area.
The $1.5 million contract for the work was awarded to E&B Paving, Inc. in December 2021. The project is expected to be complete by the end of July, INDOT officials say.
In the meantime, INDOT asks drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active construction zones.
