GREENWOOD, IN.
Susan Sharon (Achenback) Long 79 of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday June 26, 2022.
She was born September 14, 1942, in Franklin, IN to Ray and Susana (Meister) Achenback.
Susan was a 1960 graduate of Greenwood Community High School and Beauty College.
She owned and operated her own hair salons in Greenwood including Charon Hair Care, Mr. and Mrs. Hair Salon and Great Manes.
She enjoyed cooking, socializing, going to Florida, reading, flowers, pets and her favorite TV shows “Home” and investigation shows.
Survivors include her sons Timothy W. Hill (Stephanie) of Whiteland, IN and Casey Ryan Long of Greenwood, IN, two grandchildren Payton Hill and Andrew Parr of Whiteland, IN and her former spouse John D. Long of Greenwood, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Rae Ann McVicar.
The family will conduct a private family celebration of life service.
