Donald Joe and Betty King are celebrating their 74th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.
Mr. King and his wife, the former Betty McDonald were married July 3, 1948 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Hanover.
He has worked for Jefferson Proving Ground, Whirlpool, Camp Atterbury and retired from Allied Signal.
Betty is retired from Mutual Building and Loan.
The couple have five children, the late Shirley DePrez, Cindy King, Jerry King, Melody Jordan, Susan Smith, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
