Trojans 14th at national tourney
A five-player contingent from Center Grove, representing the state of Indiana, sits in 14th place after the first round of the NHSGA High School Golf National Invitational at Pinehurst, North Carolina on Monday. The Trojans totaled a 311 (23 over par) on the day.
Luke Beetz paced Center Grove with a 74, followed by Drew Rowen (77), Nate Olson (78) and Jack Kristel (82). Georgia shot a 274 (-4) to take a comfortable 18-shot lead over North Carolina and Ohio into today’s final round.
