McCarty crowned Miss Johnson County 2022

Grace McCarty is the next Miss Johnson County 2022.

McCarty is the daughter of Josh and Jennifer McCarty. She will be a senior in the fall at Center Grove High School and plans to attend Liberty University with a major in business. She is active in the show choir. She also loves animals and plans on working at a doggy day care this summer. Showing pigs is her favorite fair activity.

She was crowned Sunday evening out of 10 contestants who competed in the Johnson County 4-H and Agricultural Fair Queen Contest.

Members of the fair queen’s court are as follows: Brittany Porter is first runner-up, Lilly Pryor is second runner-up, Gracie Morris is third runner-up, Bianca Salazar is fourth runner-up and Maya Adkins is Miss Congeniality.

McCarty and the members of the court will be hostesses for the remainder of the Johnson County Fair. They will be handing out ribbons for different events and interacting with the public all week at the fair. The queen and the court have a busy week ahead of them with their first set of royal duties of attending the 8 a.m. 4-H Goat Showmanship.
