The Keller Williams office in Trafalgar will host a back to school drive event July 29, just days before the academic year begins for students at Indian Creek schools.
People will be able to drop off school supplies, such as paper, pencils, folders, crayons, tissues and hand sanitizer, anytime between now and July 29. That day, donors can take part in the location’s first annual watermelon eating and seed spitting contest, which will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. People interested in donating items will have to RSVP when donating by July 26, and the winners of both contests will be able to have their names put on a $250 donation check to Indian Creek schools.
People who wish to donate can do so at the office, located at 108 N. State Road 135 in Trafalgar, any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
