Hearts

A huge thanks and thousands of hearts to the staff at Franklin Animal Clinic who assisted our family as we dealt with the recent deaths of our two dogs 10 days apart. I can’t express enough how much their compassion and sensitivity meant to us during this extremely difficult time. A special bouquet of hearts to Jamie, the wonderful vet tech who assisted us with Jeter on his final day.

A special thank you to everyone who visited the Kiwanis Club of Franklin’s food booth at the Johnson Co Fair! Thanks to your generosity, donations of $583 were collected to help with United Way’s Fast Track program, helping students in the community to get school supplies. Donors also helped with our fundraising for Kiwanis service projects in the community by eating at our booth. It was so great to see so many familiar faces. Thanks again for supporting Kiwanis and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

To the lady in the beige SUV who pre-paid for my coffee and muffin on July 27, 2022, at McDonald’s on Morton Street. I went home and started Chapter 10 of a Bible study, “Ten Women of the Bible” by Max Lucado. The verse was from Matthew 6: 1-4, and the lesson teaches us to do good deeds without recognition. Thank you for living the lesson.
