Marian L. Pfaehler

TRAFALGAR

Marian L. (Earlywine) Pfaehler, age 92 passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 30, 2022 at her home in Trafalgar.

She was born December 6, 1929 in Trafalgar, to her parents, the late George G. and Mary E. (Richardson) Earlywine. Marian was a 1948 graduate of Trafalgar High School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Marian worked as a civil servant, doing clerical and secretarial work for several years in Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. In later years, she worked in the Bakery and then moved to the Shoe Department at Walmart in Franklin from 1999-2006.

She recently attended Bethel Holiness Church and formerly attended Trinity Holiness Tabernacle Church and the Evangelical Methodist Church in Franklin. Marian enjoyed reading sewing, crocheting and doing embroidery work. She also enjoyed taking care of her cats and loved spending time with her family.

Marian married her loving husband of 55 years, Carl R. Pfaehler Jr, on August 6, 1952 in Trafalgar. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2007. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Lillian Griffith and George Earlywine.

Marian is survived by her sons, Carl (Marilyn) Pfaehler III of Franklin &Thomas (Taffy) Pfaehler, both of Franklin and George (Melinda) Pfaehler of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Jason Pfaehler, Steven (Lori) Pfaehler, Brian (Sara) Pfaehler, Daryl Pfaehler, Curtis Pfaehler, Brandi (Nick) White, Rachel (Micheal) Edwards, Cara (Jamie) Smith; and 22 great grandchildren

The Rev. Tim Forsee will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation &Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
