Girls golf

Trojans roll past Artesians

No. 8 Center Grove coasted to a 147-196 win over Martinsville on the back nine at Foxcliff on Monday. Abby Rich was the medalist with a round of 35, while Camille Short and Sage Parsetich each added a 36 for the Trojans. Rowen Pfeifle rounded out the team scoring with a 40.

Lancers pick up easy win

Izzy Richardson and Macie Blandford were co-medalists with scores of 46, leading Edinburgh to a 212-270 victory over Triton Central at Hawk’s Tail.

Woodmen come up shy

Greenwood shot its best team round of the season but wound up on the losing end of a 161-195 score against Columbus North at Timbergate. Gracie Gasaway led the Woodmen with a 42, followed by Emma Baker (48) and Lucia Agresta (49). Edinburgh resident Ava Bunker turned in a 4-under-par 32 for the Bull Dogs.

Warriors fall to Bull Dogs

Whiteland suffered a 4-1 setback against Columbus North on Monday. The Warriors’ lone point came at second doubles, where Jeremiah Hurt and Kai Koester were 6-4, 6-4 winners.
