Drivers who travel along Fairview Road should expect brief closures as crews work on a railroad bridge.
Daytime closures of Fairview Road at the Indiana Rail Road Bridge, located just west of Leisure Lane, began today and are expected to continue through Thursday. Crews will be doing repair and maintenance work on the railroad bridge over Fairview Road, according to a Johnson County Highway Department news release.
The road is expected to be closed at this location during the following times:
- Today: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., as needed
Through traffic can use State Road 135, Smith Valley Road and Peterman Road to bypass the intersection closure, officials say.
