INDIANAPOLIS
Donna Sue Sparks 82, of Indianapolis, passed away August 21, 2022. She was born October 11, 1939 in Greenwood, Indiana to the late Ernest and Myrtle Fields Fishel. Donna was a graduate of Greenwood High School. She worked for the State of Indiana Highway Department of Transportation, Road Inventory for 12 years before retirement. Donna was a member of Cumberland United Methodist Church and a Worthy Matron for the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington Street. A funeral service will be held Thursday at the chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronnie Bell.
Donna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald E. Sparks; daughters, Rhonda Shannon (Jonathan) and Brenda Rosenau (Marcus); and three grandchildren, Molly Shannon, Spencer Rosenau and Simon Rosenau.
