FRANKLIN
Patricia Ann Edwards, 70, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022. She was born June 14, 1952, in Columbus, Indiana to Eugene L. and Thelma Jean (Stogdill) Strunk. She married Randy Edwards on November 19, 1994.
Pat was a longtime resident of Franklin, Indiana and was retired from the Franklin Community School Corporation. She enjoyed music, baking, traveling, and telling people about Jesus. In the past three years, she and Randy knocked off many of the places she wanted to see on her bucket list including New York City, Los Angeles, the Pacific Coast of California, and Mackinaw Island. She lived life to the fullest. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Nina, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her brother, Mike Strunk.
She is survived by her husband, Randy; two sons, Thomas Allen Wood and wife, Yolanda, of Franklin, Indiana, Robert David Wood, and wife Amy of Morgantown Indiana; five grandchildren, Nicole, Bailey (Brianna), Emma, Chas, and Paxton; one great-grandson, Noah; two sisters, Shirley (David) Childers of Fort Myers, Florida; and Terri (Greg) King of Taccoa, Georgia; sister-in-law, Mary Strunk; several nieces, nephews, three aunts, many cousins, and dozens of friends who will miss her kind and dedicated friendship.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 pm Friday, August 26, 2022 in Victory Baptist Church, 1340 E Tracy Road, Whiteland, Indiana where Rev. Mark Felber will conduct a service beginning at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Pat requests donations be made to her church, Victory Baptist Church, PO Box 86, Whiteland,IN 46184. She also requested that everyone wear bright cheery colors as she was so excited to meet her Savior and wanted it to be a joyful occasion when it happened.
