Braves shut out Lancers

Indain Creek stayed unbeaten with a 5-0 sweep at Edinburgh on Thursday. Peyton Strunk, Brendan Conner and Grant Dalton were singles winners for the Braves (5-0), while Aiden Pemberton and Landon Sichting won at first doubles and Trent Volz teamed with Aaron Spurgeon to take the point at No. 2.

Grizzly Cubs top Hawks

Franklin picked up a 4-1 conference victory over Decatur Central. Reid Davidson and Nathan Neville came out on top in the second and third singles spots, while the Grizzly Cubs got doubles points from Pryce Rucker and Luke Sherry at No. 1 and Ian Blakketter and Dylan Funkhouser in the second position.

Woodmen swat Hornets

Emily Metzger scored four goals to lead Greenwood to a 7-0 rout of Beech Grove on Thursday. Holly Hardin, Joelle Young and Kendyl Farmer each added a score for the Woodmen, who finished with a 45-1 advantage in total shots. Mallory Mahin contributed a pair of assists.

Trojans fall to Greyhounds

Class 3A No. 14 Center Grove suffered a 3-1 loss at ninth-ranked Carmel on Thursday. Joe Sowers tallied the lone goal for the Trojans off an assist from Bawi Hmung.
