Woodmen top Royals

Greenwood earned a 4-1 win over Roncalli on Thursday. Noah Paswater and Ian Ratliff were victorious at first and third singles for the Woodmen (9-5), while Aidyn Green and Blake Reynolds came out on top at No. 1 doubles and Ben Cruser and Will Davidson won in the second spot. Henry Howe had the lone point for the Royals, winning at No. 2 singles.

Trojans beat Fighting Irish

Ninth-ranked Center Grove bested No. 14 Cathedral, 4-1. Loc Pham and Quinn Smith picked up wins at second and third singles for the Trojans (9-1), while Max Williams and Carson Bush won in straight sets at No. 1 doubles and Daksh Patel and Evan Davis did the same at No. 2.

Braves roll to 10th win

Indian Creek coasted past Hauser, 5-0. Peyton Strunk, Brendan Conner and Grant Dalton swept the singles matches for the Braves (10-0), Aiden Pemberton and Landon Sichting won a love match at first doubles and Trent Volz teamed with Aaron Spurgeon to take the No. 2 doubles point.

Edinburgh picks up victory

A singles sweep helped Edinburgh to a 4-1 victory over Southwestern. Max Blandford, Austin Brockman and Milas Burkman won their respective matches for the Lancers, with Burkman’s point coming via a third-set tiebreak.

Grizzly Cubs blank Falcons

Franklin posted a 5-0 league win over Perry Meridian. Caleb Funkhouser, Reid Davidson and Nathan Neville each earned a singles point for the Grizzly Cubs, who also got doubles wins from Pryce Rucker and Luke Sherry at No. 1 and Dylan Funkhouser and Ian Blackketter at No. 2.

Warriors swat Hornets

Chloe Cooper was the medalist with a 45 and Kylie McGovern added a 46 as visiting Whiteland defeated Beech Grove on Thursday, 202-224.

Royals come up short

Roncalli lost to Park Tudor at Wood Wind, 167-192. Elsie Kerr led the Royals with a 41, while Clara Ralston chipped in a round of 48.

Lancers sweep Spartans

Edinburgh defeated Southwestern on Thursday, 25-18, 25-17, 25-18, behind 13 kills, eight blocks and 16 digs from Gracie Crawhorn. MacKenzie Bieker added six kills and six aces for the Lancers, while Kyah Streeval had 30 assists.

Boys soccer

Trojans overpower North Central

Landen Montfort scored three goals and Ely Detty delivered four assists as Class 3A No. 17 Center Grove topped North Central on Thursday, 5-2. Caden York and Nalen Whitney added single goals for the Trojans.

Grizzly Cubs blank Falcons

Izzy Traut tallied a pair of goals and netminder Sophia Taylor logged her first career shutout in Franklin’s 2-0 win at Perry Meridian on Wednesday night.
