TRAFALGAR
Leah Rae Mogle, age 80, of Trafalgar, IN passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022. Leah was born in Connersville, IN on October 16, 1941. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ronald L. Mogle (2016). Leah is survived by her two daughters, Leah Pearcy and her husband Scott; Cindi Martin and her husband Scott; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Leah enjoyed sewing and quilting with her friends. She was a member of the Brown County Pioneer Women Club and the Brown County Garden Club. She treasured spending time with her friends in the clubs and remained actively involved. She also loved gardening, growing flowers, traveling, campfires, playing dominos and putting the edges of puzzles together. Leah cherished listening and watching all the birds around her home every day.
Leah took pleasure in eating with family or friends in many Indiana restaurants. She enjoyed spending time with her cousin Sherry who was like a sister to her. The family would like to thank all her friends for making her life so special. A special thanks to Vicky for completing the quilts Leah did not have time to finish. Also, to Brenda for her caring and friendship. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful care given by Franciscan Hospice House. It was Leah’s wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable contributions to the Brown County Pioneer Women Club.
