Woodmen get past Whiteland

Greenwood eked out a 219-221 win against Whiteland at Hillview on Monday afternoon. Emma Baker led the Woodmen with a 48, good for medalist honors.

Grizzly Cubs cruise against Quakers

No. 7 Franklin had little trouble with Plainfield, posting a 149-183 win at The Legends. Lexi Ray paced the Grizzly Cubs with a 35, followed closely by Addi Bright (37), Reese Phillips (38) and Addie Livorno (39).

Trojans roll on senior day

With all three seniors in the lineup for the first time this fall, No. 3 Center Grove coasted to a 166-206 victory over Perry Meridian at Hickory Stick. Seniors Sage Parsetich and Haidyn Brooks each finished at 40 for the Trojans, while Ellie Adkisson (41) and Maren Pfeifle (45) rounded out the scoring.

Alexa LaPorte scored the lone goal of the evening and Whiteland goalkeeper McKinley Garrett made it hold up for a 1-0 win over Southport on Monday.

Center Grove knocked off Class 4A No. 6 Brownsburg on Monday, pulling off a 25-22, 25-23, 25-22 home win.

Royals sweep Marauders

Roncalli earned a 25-13, 25-20, 25-22 road sweep of Mt. Vernon. Faith Burch had seven kills and Monica Jones 22 assists for the Royals (13-4).

Edinburgh falls in three

Despite five kills, five blocks and 13 digs from Gracie Crawhorn, Edinburgh suffered a 27-25, 25-13, 25-12 loss to North Decatur.
