Electronics recycling, document shredding event at Greenwood mall Saturday

Residents who want to recycle electronic devices and shred documents will have an opportunity to do so Saturday.

Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana, in conjunction with Greenwood police and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, will host a Community Shred-It and Electronics Recycling Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Greenwood Park Mall.

There is a $20 fee for each TV and computer monitor recycled. A $5 donation is requested for each shredding box.

Pharmaceutical drug takeback will also be available onsite courtesy of Walgreens.
