Warriors outdo Artesians

No. 24 Whiteland topped Martinsville on Thursday, 4-1. Ty McCullars and Carson Baumann were winners at second and third singles for the Warriors (18-4), Chase and Kai Koester won a love match at No. 1 doubles and the pair of Gavin Stubbe and Isaac Phegley nailed down the point at No. 2 doubles.

Lancers get past Eagles

Straight-set victories by Max Blandford and Austin Brockman in the first two singles spots allowed Edinburgh to edge Brown County, 3-2. The Lancers’ other point came via forfeit.

Braves shut out South Putnam

Indian Creek finished off a perfect conference season by blanking South Putnam, 5-0. Peyton Strunk, Brendan Conner and Grant Dalton swept the singles points for the Braves (18-1, 8-0 WIC) without surrendering a game.

Woodmen nipped by Shelbyville

Greenwood’s regular season ended with a 3-2 defeat against Shelbyville. Noah Paswater was a winner at first singles for the Woodmen (13-9), while Blake Reynolds and Ian Ratliff won at first doubles.

Royals fall to Heritage

Roncalli dropped to 4-13 on the year with a 5-0 loss to Heritage Christian.

Edinburgh sweeps Crothersville

Edinburgh rolled past Crothersville in three sets, 25-18, 25-13, 25-7. Gracie Crawhorn had four kills, five blocks and 21 digs for the Lancers, who also got five kills from Zoey Sida and 17 assists from Kyah Streeval.

Trojans top Panthers

Center Grove defeated Bloomington South on Thursday in four sets, 25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23.

Creek wins in four

Faith Wiseman’s 18 kills helped Indian Creek to a 16-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-16 win over Owen Valley on Wednesday night. Mattie Key had 10 kills and 15 assists for the Braves, while Memoree Weekley had nine kills and five blocks.

Grizzly Cubs lose to Pioneers

Erica Buening scored off a Maggie Woods assist, but Franklin ended up taking an 8-1 loss at Mooresville on Wednesday night.
