KENTUCKY AND FORMERLY OF EDINBURGH

Cindy Joy (Sprigle) Adams, age 66, passed away all too soon on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. For the past 4 years, Cindy was a resident of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and former resident of Edinburgh, Indiana.

Cindy was born November 17, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to her parents the late William Earl and Eleanor Mae (Sanford) Sprigle. Cindy worked as a Shift Supervisor for the main gate at Camp Atterbury in Nineveh for several years, retiring in 2013. There, she created many lasting friendships with her co-workers who were a very important part of her life.

Cindy was a former Brownie Troop Leader during the late 70’s in Cherry Point, North Carolina. She enjoyed writing, horseback riding, photography and crafting of all sorts. Cindy created unique projects, including furniture finishes with her photography. She enjoyed mushroom hunting with her late husband Mike before his death in 2003. Cindy was always a “Mom/Mamaw” to everyone and pulled you into the family fold quickly with her loving and generous heart. Family and friend gatherings were some of her most happy times!

She will be missed by her children: Amy Mullins, Richard (Ami Clements) Mullins both of Edinburgh, Sandra (James) Wilson of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Teri Mullins of Columbus, Tamra Mullins and Ricky (Alexis Owens) Mullins both of Indianapolis, Lindy Adams of Indiana and Staff SGT Eric (Megan) Adams of Alaska; grandchildren; Jonathan Hyatt, Cynthia Clark, Morgan Coffey, Richard Mullins Jr., Dawson Mullins, Molly Newby, C.J. Haines, Cody Haines, Evan Wilson, Kyle Tague, Cheyenne Tague and Dakota Tague, Brandon Mills Jr., Cameron Mills, Jasiah Mullins, Alex and Freya Lynn Adams; great grandchildren: Camden, Henry, Olivia, Madison, Nora and Ambrose; siblings Teresa Morgan of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Betty Jo Jones of West Palm Beach, Florida, Wayne Sprigle of Springfield, Ohio, Kenny Sprigle of Okeechobee, FL and Roger Sprigle of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 9 years, Michael J. Adams.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 30th at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation &Personalization Center located at 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
