Greenwood Christian football loses at Clarksville

One week after going on the road and picking up the biggest win in its brief history, Greenwood Christian headed a little further south on I-65 Friday night to take on Clarksville.

The outcome wasn’t exactly what the Cougars desired, as they took a 46-8 loss against the host Generals.

Clarksville (3-4) took a 40-0 lead into the half, playing with a running clock the rest of the way. GCA (2-1) averted the shutout in the fourth quarter when freshman quarterback Trey Dobson got free for a 60-yard touchdown run.

The Cougars will be on the road again next week, this time heading up into Indianapolis to face Shortridge.
