The Greenwood Park Mall will be hosting a community harvest event today.
Members of the community are invited to the mall’s food court to celebrate the change of seasons from summer to fall with a wide selection of activites, retailer giveaways and local community partners. The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, according to a Greenwood Park Mall news release.
The Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy will kick off the event by performing songs from their latest production, “Annie.” Families can expect retailer giveaways and family-friendly activities, like balloon animals and craft stations, set up throughout the food court and outdoor dining area. Over 15 retailers are participating, including Buckle, Chick-Fil-A, Macy’s and Starbucks, the news release says.
Local community partners including the Greenwood Police Department, Greenwood Fire Department, Aspire Johnson County and Space Force will also be at the mall during the event, according to the news release.
