GREENWOOD, IN.

Mandy Lyn Higdon, 50, of Greenwood, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. She was born February 16, 1972, in Franklin, IN to Donna Kaye (Luper) Higdon of Greenwood, IN and Larry J. Higdon of Fairland, IN.

She was a 1990 graduate of Triton Central High School in Shelby County, IN and a 1994 graduate of Franklin College.

Mandy had been a senior compliance manager for Ducharme McMillen and Associates in Indianapolis, IN for ten years. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Edinburgh, IN.

Mandy always had a mother’s heart and was always taking care of others. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and her work family at DMA and she loved being an aunt and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She also was a ten year 4-H member.

Survivors include her mother Donna Kaye (Luper) Higdon of Greenwood, IN, her father Larry J. Higdon and stepmother Amy Higdon of Fairland, IN., sisters Dawn M. Wheeler of Franklin, IN and Jamie J. Smith (Brad) of Greenwood, IN, a brother J. Doug Higdon (Kelly) of Marietta, IN, nieces and nephews Kylee Stafford of Jacksonville, FL, Madison Wheeler of West Lafayette, IN, Tyler Wheeler of Franklin, IN, Maxwell Stone of Franklin, IN, Chelsea Dutton (Josiah) of Bargersville, IN, Mitch Higdon of Greenwood, IN, Spencer Higdon of Marietta, IN, Miller Higdon of Marietta, IN, Alexis Allen (Tyler) of Franklin, IN, Abi Gibson of Franklin, IN, Aniston Axsom of Franklin, IN, Emerson Axsom of Franklin, IN, Gracie Higdon of Fairland, IN, Emma Higdon of Fairland, IN, Sophia Higdon of Fairland, IN, Shelby Higdon of Fairland, IN, Lennox Lane of Franklin, IN, Allyson Lane of Franklin, IN, a great nephew Wyatt Dutton and a great-niece Emery Allen step-sister Alece Anglin of Martinsville, IN, step-brothers Jonathan Lane (Tiffany) of Franklin, IN and Joe Axsom (Jenny) of Franklin, IN.

Father Mike Keucher will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 100 Keeley Street, in Edinburgh, IN. Friends may call Monday, October 3, 2022, from 4PM until 8PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN where a Rosary service will be conducted at 8PM.

Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN.
