On Sunday at around 7:15 p.m., the Greenwood Fire Department will conduct a joint training exercise at the Greenwood Park Mall.
Firefighters are attempting to make this event as real as possible, so anyone listening in will hear dispatches and radio traffic over the scanner for an event at 1251 N. US 31, according to information shared with the media on Friday by Greenwood fire officials.
Greenwood firefighters will train with other agencies, including units from Indianapolis Fire Department, that would normally respond with city firefighters because of their proximity to the mall.
