Franklin Chamber seeks award nominations

The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for awards to be given during next year’s Franklin Chamber annual meeting.

These awards recognize and honor businesses and individuals for making a difference in the community. Award descriptions are: Business Hall of Fame Award – Community Impact Award – Community Service Award

Award nominations will be accepted until December 31.

Mall hosting job fair Saturday

The job fair will take place Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Von Maur Court. More than 20 retailers will be there looking to fill positions.

Participating retailers will be accepting applications and conducting on-site interviews for both full- and part-time positions. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with resumes. Job fairs will also take place at two other Indianapolis-area Simon Malls locations. The Fashion Mall at Keystone and Castleton Square will have job fairs on Friday and Saturday as well.

Mall welcomes new retailers

Simon announced Hollister Co. and Indy’s Finest Vintage are now open at Greenwood Park Mall.

Hollister Co. is located between Dry Goods and Express while Indy’s Finest Vintage, which specializes in 1980’s-1990’s and early 2000’s fashions can be found next to the Cheesecake Factory.

Behavioral center opening

Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus is opening a center-based services offering customized behavior solutions to individuals affected with mild, moderate, and severe disabilities that include an option for after-school care and in-house autism diagnostic assessments.

The center is scheduled to begin receiving clients by November.

Resources include registered behavior technicians and master’s level clinicians with over ten years of experience.

Bank announces new credit manager

Connie Basco joins Mutual Saving Bank to oversee the credit analyst staff and manage the daily credit administration duties of the bank.

Ms. Basco has worked in the banking industry for 30 years, including 10 years previously with Mutual Savings Bank. She lives in Greenwood with her husband and family.
