WHITELAND, IN.
Rosemary (Betts) Wallen, 74 of Whiteland, IN passed away Monday October 24, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 24, 1948, in Franklin, IN to Dale Morris Betts and Betty Jane (Mayfield) Betts. She married George Richard Wallen on December 3, 1966, in Franklin, IN, he survives.
Rosemary was a 1967 graduate of Franklin High School. She had been employed by Norplex/Allied Signal for thirty years.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, loved her flowers and garden at home, horse riding and camping with her family and friends at Brown County State Park and the beauty at the park.
Survivors include her husband George Richard Wallen of Whiteland, IN, a daughter Tammy Clark (Kent) of Franklin, IN, a son Rob Wallen (Kelly) of Trafalgar, IN, grandchildren Justin Clark (Lauren) of Trafalgar, IN, Jessica Wilson (Caleb) of Somerset, KY, Kaylynn Kahrhoff of Bloomington, IN, Monika Wallen of Trafalgar, IN, Travis Wallen of Trafalgar, IN, five great grandchildren Grayson Clark, Haylee Wilson, Casen Wilson, Colsen Wilson, Lauren Kahrhoff and Walker Kahrhoff, sister Phyllis Aello of Edinburgh, IN, a brother Norman Betts of Franklin, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dale Morris Betts and Betty Jane (Mayfield) Betts, sisters Bonnie Parks and Anita Carmack.
The Reverend Perry Anderson will conduct a service on Saturday October 29, 2022, at 2:30PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Saturday October 29, 2022, from 12 Noon until service time at the mortuary. Burial will follow the service at First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
