INDIANAPOLIS
William R. Michael 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. Bill was born on October 23, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Lawrence and Lula Michael. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Lilly Industrial Coatings after 35 years of service. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed auto racing as a driver, then crew member, then spectator.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis May Michael.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Debby Kammerling (Chad) and Teresa Myers (Lindley); grandchildren, Jennifer Morrow (Sean), Lavonne Thompson (Steve), and Ben Myers; great grandchild, Colton Thompson.
