1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Reported at 5:27 p.m. Thursday that a woman was arrested for theft.
1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 5:03 p.m. Thursday that someone was caught shoplifting.
1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 3:12 p.m. Thursday that someone was caught shoplifting.
1500 block of American Way: Reported at 3:01 p.m. Thursday the theft from a vehicle had occurred.
1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Reported at 2:41 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

Kenneth Charles Yarnell III, 41, New Whiteland; arrested on a charge of confinement; held on $2,400 bond.
Troy T. Phelps Sr., 60, Beech Grove; arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property and a warrant for failure to appear in court; held without bond.
Melvin Dias, 26, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of operating without ever obtaining a license and false identity statement; held on $2,000 bond.
Julian L. Turner II, 44, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of public intoxication by alcohol/drugs; held on $1,000 bond.
Branon Bayne Thomas, 21, New Whiteland; arrested on charges of possession of stolen property, confinement, domestic battery, strangulation, criminal mischief and intimidation; held on $6,800 bond.
