FRANKLIN
Tammy Brown Boat, 50, passed away on October 23, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Johnson County. She was the daughter of Elaine (Dormer) Brown and Horace Brown. Tammy was preceded in passing by both of her parents and her brother, Jeff Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Boat of Franklin; her brother, Steve Brown (Jeanne) of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Audrey, Hunter, Preston, Colton, Emmett, Xavier, Beckett and Waylon; two nieces, Melissa Wells (LaBrian) of Monroe, LA. and Stephanie Hendley (Chris) of Atlanta, GA.; several great nieces and nephews, Makinley, Langston, Levi and Merridy Wells and Ruby Hendley.
Tammy worked at McDonald’s.
Tammy always saw the good in everyone and loved and cared for each and every one of them. She loved to sing karaoke.
Mike Crockett will conduct a Celebration of Tammy’s life on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with visitation on Friday, November 4th from 3:00 p.m. to time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Research or Battered Women Shelters, Victims of Rape, both passionate causes to Tammy.
