Pamela A. Dinkens

MORGANTOWN

Pamela A. ‘Pam’ (Fowler) Dinkens, age 59 passed away all too soon on Sunday morning, October 30, 2022 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Morgantown.

Pam was born February 26, 1963 in Indianapolis and attended George Washington High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Pam cared for the elderly and worked through the years at the Morgantown Laundromat, Martinsville Walmart and in housekeeping at Eli Lilly &Company in Indianapolis.

She enjoyed caring for her puppies Missy &Little Bit, watching Dr. Phil and collecting family photos. Pam also enjoyed spending time with her family, caring for her grandchildren, vacationing and visiting the beach. She will be remembered for her cooking, especially her Salisbury Steak. Pam was a big supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Paul W. Dinkens II; whom she married on March 5, 1980 in Morgantown. Pam is also survived by her children, Matthew Dinkens and Carman Dinkens, both of Morgantown; siblings, Rita Satter &Roger Fowler, both of Morgantown and Jack Fowler of Mooresville; step siblings, Shannon (Wanda) Nash of Nashville, Shawn (Kim) Nash of Brownsburg, Wayne (Ghie) Nash of California and Lester (Angie) Fowler of Florida; grandchildren, Olivia and Jake Dinkens of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Harriet L. ‘Skeeter’ (Duhamell) Nash; father, Asberry Fowler; sister, Diana Burkhart; and step brother, Heath Fowler.

The Rev. Ed Tharpe will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 1 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation &Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
