Morris Albert “Mo” Lambe, Jr., 79, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Morris was born on April 21, 1943 in Lebanon Junction, Kentucky to Morris & Bessie (Myers) Lambe.

Morris married the love of his life, Gloria “Glo” Faye (Nix) Lambe, on February 28, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky. “Mo” and “Glo” were married for 58 years.

Morris had a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and was a member of New Whiteland Baptist Church. Morris served as a Deacon, church treasurer, and Sunday School teacher where he touched the lives of many. He worked at Graybar Electric for 25 years and his most recent employment was with Mid-America Clinical Labs as a courier. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball in his younger years. He also enjoyed talking about and watching sports, watching old westerns, history shows, and Turner Classic Movies. Morris will forever be remembered for his ability to recall significant historical/sports-related dates with his incredible memory.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gladys Welsh.

Morris is survived by his wife, Gloria Lambe of Greenwood; his daughter, Laura (Curtis) Herald of Greenwood; his son, Charles Lambe of Surprise, Arizona; three granddaughters, Heather (Eric) Golliday, Casey (Jansen Smith) Herald, and Sydnee Lambe; four great-grandchildren, Jaylea, Hudson, Harper, and Sloan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Jessen & Keller Funeral Homes ~ Whiteland Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 3:00pm with visitation from 2:00pm until the funeral hour.
