‘Shrek the Musical’ at FCHS this weekend

Student actors at Franklin Community High School are presenting “Shrek the Musical” for four nights only – starting tonight.

The musical is based on the DreamWorks movie that tells the story of Shrek, an ogre who becomes an unlikely hero after he cuts a deal to help homeless fairy-tale creatures and save a princess.

Students will take the stage tonight until Sunday at The Franklin Performing Arts Center, 2600 Cumberland Drive Franklin. The show goes on at 7 p.m. tonight and Friday, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
