Christmas is coming and so is the deadline to enter your home in the Daily Journal’s annual Christmas Light Decorating Contest.
Submissions are being accepted until Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. There are three categories for the contest: People’s Choice, Most Unique and Best Use of Lights.
Entries should be submitted by uploading a photo of the exterior of your home at indianacontests.com/dailyjournaldecorating.
Everything visible in the picture will be judged as part of the contest.
One entry per address will be considered and all entries must be from homes in Johnson County.
The People’s Choice contest will be judged by the public at indianacontests.com/dailyjournaldecorating from 12:01 a.m. Dec. 12 to 5 p.m. Dec. 23.
The Most Unique and Best Use of Lights contest will be voted on by a panel of judges.
The winners will be announced online on dailyjournal.net on Christmas Day.
Each category winner will take home a $100 gift card.
