Ruby W. Fowler

Ruby Williams Fowler, 92, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Compass Park in Franklin, Indiana. Ruby was born February 18, 1930 in Ripley, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Berford and Minnie Weaver.

Ruby moved from Indiana to Tarpon Springs, Florida. She worked as the manager of Hickory Point Park for over 40 years. She was also a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Tarpon Springs.

Ruby enjoyed sewing, knitting, and spending time on the water.

Survivors include: her son, Tom (Denise) Reynolds; son, Jerry (Alice) Reynolds; and step-son, Doug Fowler; grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Reynolds, Amanda (Jason) Bagwill, Eric (Alyssa) Reynolds, Bobbie, and Terrie Reynolds; and step-grandchildren, Liz, Cory, K.B., and Nikkie; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Frank Weaver; and sister, Doris McLeaster. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stephen Alan Reynolds; first husband, Max Reynolds; second husband, Bob Fowler; and siblings, Emma Jane “Shortie” Curts, Larry Weaver Jr., Agnes Woodrum, and James Weaver.

A celebration of life for Ruby will be held Friday, December 9 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel.
