Jacqueline “Jackie” E. Phipps, loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend entered into eternal rest at the age of 71 on December 5, 2022. A resident of Indianapolis she was born on January 30, 1951 in Evansville to Jack O. Eakle and Anna F. (Bastin) Eakle.
She was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church, a former member of MIBOR of Indianapolis, and past president of United Methodist United Women in Faith.
Jackie was a real estate agent for 10 years with Century 21, retiring in 2003. She had previously worked as an insurance agent for American General Life Insurance Company and was a past assistant manger for the medication supply store at St. John’s Hospital of Anderson.
She was a huge fan of Elvis. She loved chatting with friends and liked to read.
Jackie leaves behind to treasure her memory, her mother, Anna F. Eakle; brother, Barry Eakle; nieces, Rachael and her son Rayce, Arial and her children Dalanie, Dazie, Mason and Lyric.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack O. Eakle, and her son Stephen.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on December 13th at Sunset Cemetery, 1800 Saint George Road, Evansville, Indiana 47711. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis.
