GREENWOOD
Marc E Sherman, 52, of Greenwood passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. He was born March 11, 1970 in Indianapolis. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and earned his BA in social work from IUPUI. He worked as an advocate for the Center for At Risk Elders (CARE). He is celebrated by his loving companion of 23 years, Carey Germana, her children Brandi and Lincoln (Amanda) Germana, father Michael Sherman (Irene), sisters Lisa Jobe (Jeremy) and Karen Alfrey (Alan), brother Matt Sherman (Amy), and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded into heaven by his mother Leslie Sherman and his aunt and uncle Tim and Janice Sherman. Marc lived life to the fullest, determined not to let any obstacle get in his way. He was passionate about helping others with disabilities and touched the lives of all who had the pleasure to know him.
Visitation will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 West Main Street, Greenwood, IN on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5-8:00pm and Saturday December 17, 2022 12-1:00pm with the service beginning at 1:00.
