Judith A. Muesing

GREENWOOD

Judith A. “Judy” Muesing, 80, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. A resident of Greenwood, she was born on July 23, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Paul W. and Elmyra Zahn (Townsley).

She started her vocation as a beautician, and retired early from an administrative career in finance. Afterwards, she maintained a shop in Greenwood, Indiana for a short time called “Baby Stuff by Judy” where she sold her beautiful, hand-crafted baby clothes. She treasured her family, and for many years she enjoyed making hand-crafted greeting cards for each of their birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. She dearly loved the company of her grandchildren and her dogs.

Judy is survived by her children, Monique (Eric) Rembold, Ron (Cathy) Pollard, Michelle (Tom) Welch, James Muesing, and Angela (Greg) Smith; grandchildren, Shawna, Derron, Haley, Jessica, Savannah (Luke), Morgan (Kaleb), Emily, Nick (Karli), Shane, and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Layla and Kleo with a third on the way; and four sisters, Beverly Ward, Marlene Pelfree, Anna Wright and Paula Hyde.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Elmer C. “Rusty” Muesing, Jr., granddaughter Kelsi T. Chesser-Schritter, brother Paul D. Zahn, and sister Cheryl Zahn.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00pm at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN, with the funeral service 1:00pm.

She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
