Ryan’s Picks

CHRISTMAS ACRES, 6-10 p.m. through Dec. 25, 6211 N. CR 500 E., Franklin.

Since he was a child, Peyton Bohler has loved Christmas lights. What started as small displays around his family’s rural Franklin home has grown into a full-scale drive-through display. Enjoy more than 60,000 lights set up by Bohler, whose nickname is “Griswold,” on the family’s five-acre property.

The public is invited to come to the property and drive up the circle to see the lights. There is no cost, but at the end of their front sidewalk, they are collecting canned goods for the local food pantry.
