Fraud

2801 N. Morton St., Franklin police department: A man reported at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday that he sent his daughter a check for $100, which she did not receive and he later found out that it had been cashed for over $5,000 by an unknown person.

Thefts

50 block of Water St.: A woman reported at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday that three packages were delivered on her doorstep while she was out of town and when she arrived back home the packages were gone.

1783 N. Main St., Franklin Liquors: An employee reported at 4 p.m. Wednesday that a man and woman had stolen a bottle of liquor and fled the store.

8:05 p.m. Monday – Honeycreek Road and W. Stones Crossing Road

10:12 a.m. Sunday – N. Madison Ave. and Camby St.

Theft

150 block of S. Park Blvd.: Reported at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday the theft of a catalytic converter had occurred.

Johnson County

Personal-injury accident

7:45 a.m. Wednesday – U.S. 31 N., Franklin. Michell Fox, 48, Edinburgh. Fox reported having pain and injury to her entire body.

Vincent Hernandez, 28, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property; held on $2,000 bond.

Mykel Antonio Murilla, 42, Brookston; arrested on a charge of false identity statement and wanted on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Brittany N. Osborne, 35, Martinsville; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held without bond.

John Reed, 19, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property; held on $1,200 bond.

Amarjit Singh, 40, Greenwood; arrested on charges of domestic battery and domestic battery on a person less than 14 years old; held on $2,000 bond.

Jaswinder Singh, 41, Greenwood; arrested on charges of invasion of privacy and resisting law enforcement; held on $2,000 bond.
