Warriors ground Falcons

Whiteland remained perfect in Mid-State Conference play with a 60-38 win over Perry Meridian on Tuesday. Gwen Higdon led the Warriors (10-8, 5-0) with 20 points, while Sophia Dyer added 15.

Royals dominate against Guerin

Claire Lindsey had 16 points, four assists and four steals in Roncalli’s 57-24 rout of visiting Guerin Catholic. Sydney Horton added 12 points and five assists for the Royals (14-3, 4-0 Circle City).

Swimming and diving

Woodmen split with Cardinals

Greenwood’s boys pulled out an 84-81 win over Southport on Tuesday, while the girls suffered a 97-68 defeat. The Woodmen boys swept all three relays and got individual wins from Ben Wehnert (200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke), Lucas Young (200 IM) and Ethan Rose (500 free). For the girls, Naomi Weaver took the 100 butterfly and swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay.

Creek boys roll past Mustangs

Indian Creek split its dual meet with Edgewood, taking a 110-29 victory on the boys side while the girls lost, 125-43. The Braves got individual wins on the boys side from Evan Schaub (200 and 500 freestyle), Evan Dennis (200 IM, 100 fly), Eli Botts (50 free, 100 breast) and Garrett Bolin (100 backstroke). Ella Taylor was first in both diving and the 50 freestyle for the girls.
