Twin Peaks to open Greenwood location in March

A new lodge-style sports bar with “scenic views” will soon open its doors on Greenwood’s far north side.

Twin Peaks, a Lewisville, Texas-based restaurant chain whose tagline is “eats, drinks and scenic views,” will be opening a new location in March at the former site of Logan’s Roadhouse on north end of the Greenwood Park Mall, a spokesperson confirmed Tuesday. The 8,700-square-foot building located at 600 Greenwood Park Drive North will be the “perfect spot” for people to gather, watch a game and enjoy scratch-made food, 29-degree beers and scenic views, the spokesperson said.

Known for female wait staff who wear denim shorts and plaid crop tops, Twin Peaks features an atmosphere commonly compared to Hooters. Encouraging customers to experience the “Lodge Mantality,” when people step inside Twin Peaks they are surrounded by “friendly and attentive Twin Peaks Girls” serving up food and drinks, according to the restaurant’s website.

Menu items for Twin Peaks include burgers, flatbreads, tacos, wings, salads, soups and more. For desserts, the restaurant offers apple turnovers, a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cheesecake and a Twin Peaks Sundae, the website says.

Confirmation of Twin Peaks’ arrival could potentially end months of speculation in Greenwood-area community Facebook groups about what was replacing Logan’s Roadhouse. Community members have commented on the scenes of crews working on the building, often jokingly, since crews began converting the former steakhouse into a Twin Peaks.

When Twin Peaks’ Greenwood location opens, it will become the sports bar’s second Indiana location. In 2014, a Twin Peaks managed by Texas-based Avalanche Food Group opened near Interstate 69 and East 82nd Street in the Castleton-area.

An exact opening date for the Greenwood location is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The restaurant will likely also be managed by Avalanche Food Group, as they are seeking a general manager for the Greenwood location, according to a job posting on Glassdoor.
