Greenwood
David Paul Newkirk, age 61, of Greenwood, passed away January 23, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis on March 1, 1961, to David and Marilyn Newkirk. David graduated from Greenwood High School. He later became an electrician, working for Dale Hubbard Electric for 15 years. David loved working on old Ford pickup trucks and riding motorcycles. He was also skilled in welding.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon Newkirk; and son: Joseph Newkirk; and grandchildren: Harlee Newkirk, and Jase Newkirk.
He is preceded in death by his son: Samuel Newkirk; first wife: Cynthia Flaherty; and parents: David and Marilyn Newkirk.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
