Phillip Ray Adams

INDIANAPOLIS

79, of Indianapolis, a loving, devoted father and friend passed away December 28, 2022. He was born May 16, 1943 in Johnson City, Indiana to the late Bernice and Aline (Perkins) Adams. Phillip was a graduate of Whiteland High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Allison Engine Company/Rolls-Royce of North America for over 40 years. Phillip was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He was a kind man who loved his family and worked hard to provide us a good life and is missed greatly.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2023 from 12 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 East Thompson Road.

Phillip is survived by his children, Angela (Steve) Wanicki and Brian (Susan) Adams; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Adam, Caroline, Lily and Grace; and two great-grandchildren, Allen and Melodie. He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
