Three locals advance to state meet
Center Grove’s Mia Prusiecki earned a chance to defend her state 1-meter championship with a dominating performance at the Jasper Regional on Tuesday evening. The junior finished with an 11-round score of 539.85, well ahead of Indian Creek’s Ella Taylor, who was the runner-up at 441.10. Prusiecki and Taylor will be joined at the state meet for a third straight year by Franklin’s Camy Quiggins, who placed fifth with a total of 391.30.
State preliminaries begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the IU Natatorium in downtown Indianapolis.
