W. Jefferson St. and King Arthur Drive: A woman reported at 8:17 a.m. Thursday that her daughter had been involved in an hit and run accident where a dark blue vehicle attempted to pass her on the shoulder and sideswiped her daughter’s vehicle.

600 block of E. Main St.: Reported at 6:22 p.m. Thursday that criminal mischief had occurred.

10:50 a.m. Thursday – County Line Road and Madison Ave. Mackayla Taylor, 25, Merrillville. Taylor reported having pain and injury to her head.

900 block of Green Pasture Court: Reported at 6:36 a.m. Friday that a theft had occurred.
700 block of Wooddale Terrace: Reported at 6:22 a.m. Friday the theft from a vehicle had occurred.
200 block of Emerson Ave.: Reported at 3:27 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
882 S. State Road 135, Walmart: Reported at 2:20 p.m. Thursday that someone was caught shoplifting.
1260 block of Stonehedge Drive E.: Reported at 10:44 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
290 block of Village Lane: Reported at 9:21 a.m. Thursday that a theft and criminal mischief had occurred.

3620 N. Hurricane Road, Barn at Crystal Farm, Franklin: An officer reported at 9:12 a.m. Thursday that a power line pole had been struck and was leaning and there was a small amount of vehicle debris around the pole.

Allison Marie Cloyd, 23, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia; held on $2,000 bond.
Kimberly G. Burkhead, 51, Whiteland; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $1,000 bond.
Bradley Joe Russell, 42, Morgantown; arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon and possession of paraphernalia; held on $7,600 bond.
