Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance is seeking nominations for the annual Women Leaders awards. The award winners will be announced at Aspire’s upcoming Women Leaders Conference on March 8 — also International Women’s Day.
Aspire is seeking nominations for two awards, one for a business and an individual woman deserving of recognition.
The Champion of Women Award recognizes an organization that prioritizes women in leadership and provided women with opportunities for growth, both inside and outside their workforces. The Woman Leader of the Year Award recognizes a woman who has made a significant contribution to her company or organization as an influencer, leader, and ally, Aspire officials say.
Finalists in both categories will be announced prior to the event and the winners revealed at the Woman Leaders Workshop, Aspire officials say.
The event will be held at the Napolitan Student Center at Franklin College beginning at 11:30 a.m. on March 8. Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch will deliver the opening keynote address. Other speakers will include Indianapolis Business Journal Editor Lesley Weidenbener and Tiffanie Ditlevson, a U.S. Airforce veteran and real estate agent with F.C. Tucker.
